Jeremy Boxer, Business Development Manager UK
Jeremy Boxer manages business development efforts for CINELAN in the UK and abroad, inclusive of filmmaker relationships, film acquisitions, partnership development, and library expansion. He is also the senior curator for CINELAN films.
Prior to CINELAN, Boxer most recently served as Head of Programming for Tomorrow Unlimited, a Tribeca Enterprise's company where he produced The Creators Series, a two-city gallery show and creative conference. Previously, he was Head of Programming for RES Media Group, serving as liaison to international RESFEST producers, film curator, and manager of several legs of the European RESFEST tour. Boxer is also a filmmaker. His award-winning film, The Last Supper was presented at the first annual RESFEST, screened at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival, played in several countries and has been translated into more than five languages. As an accomplished cinematographer and photographer, Boxer has shot more than 40 short films, music videos and concert films for artists including The Doves, Beth Orton, Spiritualized, Super Furry Animals, The Mockingbirds and Traffic. His pictures have been published in several magazines, including covers for Film Ireland and Fashion Weekly. He speaks regularly on international film festival panels, at universities and to the media about short film and new media. Jeremy was born in New York and has become native to both New York and London, where he currently resides, and he is fluent in French. He graduated with honors from NYU Film School with a minor in Psychology.
